Completely disappointed. Quite cheap.

I've only had this car for a little over a month. I use it often for my polymer clay business, but problems started appearing after the first day of use. I started reading instructions for use and cleaning. I did my best to follow these instructions as this machine is vital to my workflow, but even during setup the handle and clamp began to give me trouble. I don't know if it's a broken car or a stock one, but the handle doesn't fit the car properly. It was difficult to install and then right from the start it made a loud grinding noise (sound or no sound in the car) every time I spun. It was always very difficult to shoot, but as this was my first car I thought it was meant to be. It is not. All of the clay and pasta machine tutorials I've looked at have NOT been that difficult to spin or make a grinding noise. The clip is plastic and doesn't attach easily to every table I've tried. It often comes off during machine use. A month later, the plastic on the clamp began to crack. Once when I used it, the machine blocked. I might have put a little too much clay in it, but that was the standard size I used based on the instructions and tutorials I watched, so if it was too much it wasn't an extreme amount. Since then the machine has been unstable. The handle turns, but the rollers turn unevenly. The plastic on the handle has started to break. I had excessive problems with black spots on my clay, waves and lots of bubbles due to the poor quality of the machine. Despite troubleshooting and cleaning the machine according to regulations. The dial also stuck several times. In general, this product is cheap and of poor quality. If you just want to see how much fun you are having working with clay, it's worth it, but if you work with clay frequently or run a business, please invest in something better. My business is now a week and a half late at a crucial moment just because of this machine.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Nice but not really for conditioning...
