This product is an example that sometimes you get what you pay for. I wanted to keep the hard drive for extra storage and it was in good condition). I'm no technical expert, but I did a little research and figured out what connections I need to place the drive and connect it to my new computer. I searched the internet and found this one at a great price. When it arrived I had my doubts. It looked as cheap as the price would suggest, and there were hot glue patches on the drive connectors. I mounted my drive anyway and tried to connect it to my computer. The computer did not register the device at all. I searched for errors for an hour with no success and then took them to my school's tech support. They also failed to register, saying the corps is unlikely to work at all. I called the company and got a full refund which was nice of them. Think twice before paying the lowest price for a hard drive enclosure.
