This is a really great bluetooth dongle. I made the mistake of buying a "modern 4.0" media connection without knowing it was a Class 2 device. The class differentiates Bluetooth devices according to distance, with class 1 naturally having the greatest range. The latest Bluetooth device barely had a 3 foot range. It has a range of 30 feet (it has 100, most Bluetooth receivers have a REAL range of about 1/3 of what they say). This is also the same price as the medialink "4.0 super modern" key. Sure, this one's a bit larger, but being able to sit on the couch, type, and use a mouse is worth it, rather than sitting right in front of a monitor with all the other wireless keyboard and mouse combos. there. So far I haven't been able to find anything that offers the option of sitting on the couch and starting the computer with the mouse or keyboard without stuttering, freezing or other crap. This button decides this combination with its range. It's a bit bigger, but if it's a desktop, who cares. I'm tired of sitting cross-legged in front of the TV (aka our monitor in our house, lol!) just to be able to send commands to our computer. Good product. If you're looking for something to use with a "media center" computer connected to your living room TV, a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard is PERFECT.
