These little guys are great to start a project but remember they need a little work. I bought 2 sets to fill one of my walls as they are smaller than you think. I painted them with Spanish Oak Gel Stain and they look beautiful... except... some of them have a lot of invisible glue. It seemed pretty random from piece to piece. The glue cannot stain the wood so be careful with a dark color like me, the glue will keep that light pine color and stain. I stuck with it and went for a "rustic and weathered" look instead. Looks nice but had to get creative due to an unforeseen bug. Also, they are quite fragile. Don't try to use them for anything remotely sophisticated, stick to using them as decorative shelves. I recommend having some wood glue on hand to give them some strength. I attached some sawtooth hangers to the back, but not using nails to secure them like clothes hangers are designed to do. I used epoxy to attach the sawtooth to the back, even the smallest of nails posed a risk of splitting the wood. They're good IF you're willing to put in a little effort to get the most out of them. I was expecting a bit of work so for me they were a good price and turned out to be fine.
