The user interface is pretty good and the original idrive screen mirroring is very good. The screen is slightly higher than the original screen, so the image is slightly stretched vertically. The biggest problem I have is the screen goes black for 30-60 seconds in Android mode. **Note: The black screen issue appears to be resolved. I get an OBD connection error with BimmerLink that the upper main unit is not communicating. The recommended rear view camera is also pointed too far towards the ground. I would try to find the one with the best angle. You can also get CarPlay to work, but you'll have to go through a few menus to get it through the Zlink Android software. I'd rather have CarPlay appear when I plug in my phone.
