So the cool thing is if you use the included pen the ink will fade after a while and you can reuse the book. My issue is that they only provided one pen and the rest is interchangeable, but I have two kids who both wanted to do this. This was annoying because I tried switching the bars to other knobs and it didn't work. So I'm deducting a star for that. Now the books are great. Lots of easy to follow activities, letters, numbers and lots of exercises for your kids. Good size books. My kids are 5 and 6 and both enjoyed using the books and loved that the ink has faded. Letters and numbers are printed on the sides to help the child feel depression. It's neat and great for practice. Nice set to keep your kids busy all summer long.
