Review on Unwind And De-Stress With Arteza'S Mandala Coloring Book For Adults - 50 One-Sided Images Of Intricate Designs On 9X9 Inches, Perfect For Relaxing, Reflecting, And Decompressing by Joe Jimenez

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Poorly designed, some pages lack legibility

First, the good things about this book.Pages are easily removed and of a medium thickness. Some patterns (not many, though) are really good - clear visible lines, not cluttered, and also intriguing. Now, not so good. The book is poorly designed. Some pages contain patterns, that supposed to be printed in larger sizes. Some mandalas are so "washed out" - have very thin lines, very small print, - the thinnest marker is too thick for them. The book gives me a feeling, that somebody threw into printing images from the folder named "to be sorted out later" without editing and unifying design. The verdict. This book could be a good buy for young people with no vision problems. For me, as my sight deteriorates and I also see poorly in low light, this book is not what I wanted. Some pages contain very grey thin lines, some bold thick dark lines. Some patterns are so cluttered, I can't see them well even with my glasses on. Some lines look like blown up low resolution image, pixelated. I won't be able to use it in my travels for sure, which was the main reason I bought it.Took a couple of images side-by-side to see the big, no huge, difference in printing. But the phone make the lines more visible, as it auto corrects the contrast. It is worse on the paper.

Pros
  • Great coloring book. Not a 8x11. A little smaller then I wanted but good for travel
Cons
  • Limited selection of designs in the book
