Works almost as advertised, great product! The filter feels very similar to very thin aluminum foil. You can cut and fold it to get any shape you want. I made a simple cover for my DSLR telephoto lens (image attached) and it works great. I took an old $1 folder I had years ago and cut a rectangle out of it. Then I fold it around the end of my telephoto lens and glue it where the folds meet. Then I had to cut the filter, wrap it around the edge of the folder's lid, and then tape it all over. This ensures that the filter is very close to the lens but can be removed and replaced very quickly. I got a few photos of the sun (attached). A small sunspot is clearly visible. Definitely recommend this product if you are planning an eclipse in 2 weeks or if you want to photograph the sun in general.
