Review on 🔥 Leatt Airflex Stealth Tee Body Protection in Black, Medium Size – Brace for Enhanced Comfort and Safety by John Galbraith

Great for Enduro MTB, stealth fits under jersey but still warm

I ride dirt and mountain bikes (downhill, enduro) and have been looking for a lighter body armor with quality back and chest protection for a few days when I'm pedaling an enduro or dirt bike on an easier singletrack route. It's perfect for this function. I should note that I have older Leeaat and Dainese armor that I wear downhill and on my bike, but it's too bulky to wear while pedalling. So here's the good and the bad: It's super stealthy, if you put it under a tank top you literally can't see it. It has high quality chest and back padding. Fits well. So far I've worn it for a few days doing laps in Santa Cruz, it's comfortable, doesn't move and in the fall I had it did what it was supposed to. However, like all armor, it is hot. I wouldn't wear it above 70 degrees when cycling uphill, but for shuttles and anything under 70 degrees it's perfect. If you are buying it for dirt or downhill I would recommend getting Body Vest 3DF or something with more protection. (It's all relative though, depending on what you ride etc. e.g. light armor, this gives two thumbs up).

Pros
  • Protective Gear
Cons
  • No Assault Rifle
