UPDATE - 10/26/16: Unfortunately, I have to retract my first positive review. After only a few weeks of use, the flexible part where the cable connects to the plug started to fall apart (see photo). Any movement of the wire will cause static electricity in the connection. Static is often interpreted by my phone (Galaxy S5) as a command to launch a voice search app. I would recommend paying a little more for better quality. Original Review: This is just what I needed to bridge the short distance between the AUX-in port and the phone mount in my cars.
