This fan looks great, is fairly easy to install and works well. The only problem with the installation was pairing the remote to the fan itself - we skipped that instruction and spent a few frustrating moments rechecking the wiring before we found our mistake. I bought the wall mount separately but decided to return it. The remote control works great and has a housing that can be mounted on the wall. The controls look and work the same. I found the remote control suitable as a wall mount. While some have reported that their fans are noisy, I haven't found this to be the case. If there was one thing I had to hold on to, it was the need to manually flip a switch on the fan to flip the blades. It would be nice if this could be done via the remote control. It's not hard to do, you just have to stand there to get to the switch.
