I bought this primarily to elevate my air purifier. It looks like it will work perfectly when used for seating as shown in the picture. If you're a big guy, I don't recommend getting into it. Because the height (18 inches) with plastic leg support is high and the plastic strips connecting the 4 legs feel thin and soft (you don't need to be a physics professor to know what will happen), the product can easily crash, like it many reviewers have done so. I suspect this product is not designed to be stood on. This may be the reason why it doesn't have anti-slip dots. The product description must state the weight limit.
