Looks neat although you can tell immediately that it was cheaply made. If you are a "grown woman" and looking for something "more grown up" then this is not for you. But does the job. Runs on 4 triple AAA batteries (not included) or USB power cable. I chose batteries because I don't like the position of the power cord. I really wish the power cord was plugged into the back instead of the front because it just doesn't look aesthetically clean with the power cord sticking out the front, blocking the jewelry compartment and interfering with makeup application. It's also not entirely clear why there are so many comments about the light being too bright, when dimming is as simple as holding down the power button, as the large sticker on the front says. I like that it doesn't look like the others with the big ugly logo on the front. I like that it only has a black cover.
