These things are good. Not great, but not terrible either. They are very well made, easy to hand wash and serve their purpose. I've had three Achilles tendon surgeries in four years, culminating in a recent tendon transplant. A disgusting scar from a horrible operation. Constant shifting of weight from shoe to cast to hiking boot and back again over three periods. Well, you can imagine how traumatic this is to your plantar fascia. My doctor recommended these socks for me while I'm getting back to normal. I'm a size 12 with skinny legs that usually flop in socks. They stay in place and the aspect ratio is great for my needs. They are quite tight at first but get too tight as my leg swells up throughout the day. I put them on and take them off at the end of the day, although I can definitely tell if there's a difference in wearing them or not. My legs hurt, which is to be expected given my condition. They do, however, reduce that pain. For people like me, that's great! One downside is their color. It's definitely not my skin tone and I'd really like to see them in multiple colors. To be honest, these standout models look like old-school knee-highs on my pale legs. Not the best look when wearing cute sandals. They drop the atmosphere.
