I bought this headset to replace a Samsung that was nearing the end of its life. I have been using Plantronics headsets for years and have loved the quality and features but wanted to try something different as they are expensive and the battery never lasts as long as they claim. I use my Bluetooth headset almost exclusively for work, and while there are weeks when I can speak very little, neither Samsung nor Plantronics last a week. I almost had to use both of them in a week when talking for a very long time because neither of them had battery life. I liked the Plantronics Hub software because it helped me figure out when to switch to Samsung. Then I bought this headset for almost half the price from Plantronics. The sound quality on both the transmit and receive sides is very good and the battery easily lasts up to two weeks even with moderate use. I don't have to rely on phone apps to keep track of my battery because it lasts so long. I charged and turned off my Plantronics and when I checked it out it needed to be charged again (it was barely a year old). The sound quality on this headset differs from Plantronics, but I don't mean worse, just a different tone. I didn't really rate the noise cancellation, so I gave it an average rating of 3. I'm so disappointed with the Plantronics battery life that I just don't use it now. I will definitely buy it again if I need a spare or a second headset (although this headset's battery lasts so long that I no longer feel the need for a backup).
