This is a compact and stylish power strip with surge protection. Unfortunately, I bought it because of the two USB slots that could charge my iPad. Charging the iPad was extremely slow with this device and then, incredibly, it started draining some of the charge. I've had my iPad for a while now and I know it doesn't usually take hours and hours to charge the device. I have a Belkin cable that works amazingly fast, but I decided to save a few cents by buying a cheaper model. I regret that decision.
