If the sides were a bit higher I would give 5 stars. This is a great little tray and a good size for travel. I love the zipper and if you use a lightweight, dust-free padding, nothing will leak out of the zipper at all. My medium-sized cat burrows like crazy and his litter often shoots straight out of the low walls. An inner lining that is folded in at the edges so that the seam does not leak anywhere at the bottom. It will stand up to careful scooping, but make sure you have a spoon with no sharp points or anything else or you could tear the liner. I've used it on a long car ride, at several hotels, and at my Parents' Week. I wish my cat wouldn't lash out so much but I'm sure I'll be using this for years to come.
