So far so good. It seems to run a little louder than my last one and the compressor seems to kick in more (maybe I notice it more because it's louder), so maybe it's not insulated as decently. My previous Danby didn't have a digital thermometer so I'm not sure I set it above 43 degrees which is the highest. We don't need it very cold for workout drinks and I'd rather keep the compressor. But what is is. Haven't tried to see if it can hold 38 degrees. You should be able to set the light to Auto, but I've only tried changing it to Celsius. I have to try again but I think separate buttons for F/C and lighting mode would be very helpful.
