INSUFFICIENT PRODUCT! BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE

As you can read from many other customer reviews, this Whynter BBR-801BG fridge had manufacturing issues. The device "turns off" and displays an "EH" error. The company sent me 3 replacement thermostats which I had to unscrew and replace myself - none of them solved the problem. This problem appeared a week after receiving the device. Now I'm having a hard time returning the fridge. UPS doesn't accept it. I no longer have the original packaging, which annoyed me greatly. It was a more expensive

  • Makes me nervous

So far, so good. Seems to run a little louder than mine.

So far so good. It seems to run a little louder than my last one and the compressor seems to kick in more (maybe I notice it more because it's louder), so maybe it's not insulated as decently. My previous Danby didn't have a digital thermometer so I'm not sure I set it above 43 degrees which is the highest. We don't need it very cold for workout drinks and I'd rather keep the compressor. But what is is. Haven't tried to see if it can hold 38 degrees. You should be able to set the light to Auto,

Beep-beep-beep - a fridge that wakes you up at night.

Do you like being squeaked in the middle of the night? Want to do your own wiring repairs? Happy to pay for shipping to California fixed in 2 months? This is the beverage cooler for you! A few days after installation, our fridge showed an EH error message and beeped loudly (sometimes at 4am - joy!). We have to turn it off manually and wait a while. We addressed this issue with Winter. They sent various technical instructions to diagnose the problem (including opening the case and adjusting the…

Nice design, drinks getting cold, noisy compressor, door slam issues

Fits great in place of a 15" main cabinet. Using what I like to call a "real compressor", it keeps drinks colder with less temperature fluctuation than the Danby cooler I also have. It runs noticeably louder than the 10-cubic-foot refrigerator it's standing next to in the photo. I had a very hard time flipping the door because the parts you had to move were bolted on tighter than any jig I've ever dealt with designed for such a modification; For this reason I was about to send it back and…

  • Hands-free operation

  • Very expensive
