Review on ๐Ÿšฒ Fat Wire Bead Bicycle Tire - Kujo Big Mama by Jorge Maertz

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good value for a cheap fat bike tire, size 26 x 4.0, width 3.8 ", rim diameter 80mm

This is by far the cheapest fat bike tire I have seen , with a decent profile. Its size is only 8" from bead to bead, which is significantly narrower than other fat bike tires labeled 26x4.0. Actual width on an 80mm rim at 20psi is 3, 8" as shown in the picture with the calipers. Compared to other 26x4.0 tires the profile is slightly narrower but has a higher profile (4th picture side by side for comparison with another cheap 26x4.0 with Kujo on the right, both mounted on same rims) printed label on tire sidewall with I'm not sure if it's not just printed as you can clearly see the casing is more like the 22tpi product description I have this tread pattern on others tires seen and it seems to be working decently. Decent traction with the tread pattern, mounts and rollers ok so what more could you ask for at a low price. The rubber feels durable so it will most likely last a while. I was a little disappointed that the tire is a bit on the small side (hopefully I'll pass the fat bike race test which requires a 3.8" minimum tire!) - but overall I'm very happy with the tire for the price. At least it has a big gap on my frame :). I've been debating how many stars to give this product as it clearly doesn't fall into the same category as tires which cost five times more but are good value for money. I could give 3 stars over the expensive tires but they are not what was advertised. If it were advertised as a cheap 26x3.8 tire I wouldn't disagree with anyone who would give it 5 stars.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • weak
