Review on ๐Ÿ” Enhanced SEO: LS2 MX-Off Road Subverter Helmet for Optimal Performance by Jason Rodman

Probably wouldn't buy again or recommend

As someone who overheats easily and rides in the North Carolina heat and humidity, I really hoped this helmet would meet my needs.1. This helmet looks really well ventilated but that really doesn't matter as the vents inside are the diameter of a small handle. Even at speed on dirt roads, there is no noticeable airflow. Maybe it helps dissipate some heat, but it's not enough to notice.2. This helmet has all the latest MIPS safety features etc, but it's not lightweight either. I have a Troy Lee D3, Fox V1 and HJC and they are all lighter than this helmet. Yes, I weighed them all.3. Of all my helmets, this one is the most uncomfortable. I wear medium with everything and even my Troy Lee is tight but this thing is gonna hurt a little. I have a narrow face and the cheek pads are so tight my jaw hurts after a few hours of wearing them. I hope these pads wear out a bit as the rest of the helmet is comfortable. There really is no place for an intercom headset. I adjusted it, but now it's pressing on the ears again and getting uncomfortable. All other helmets have space for headphones.5. Of course, the style is a little different, but I like it. Until I tried to attach things to the helmet and found that there are no flat surfaces. I got it working but even the visor is so warped I don't really think my GoPro mount will last long. The visor is also very thin. That'll probably help in a collision, but it also makes my GoPro jump while you don't get that with other helmets. I think this is a quality helmet but for the price I expect an improvement.
