If this collar were a little bigger I would happily give it five stars. We have a yellow lab and we can barely put the collar on and off his head and ears and our lab is only 85 pounds not around 250 pounds. It measures exactly 19 inches around the neck but his head appears to be at least 20 inches. Once it works like a charm! He is a very strong dog and managed to pull my wife out of her shoes because he saw another dog. It's only been about a week with this new collar and now my 11 year old son is walking it and my 20 year old daughter is running it around a neighborhood full of dogs, cats and squirrels 😁👍.
