I was born and raised in Florida and recently moved to the Midwest (not really used to those harsh winters). Also, I'll be 40 soon and have fibromyalgia. Well, I'm very sensitive to cold, especially my ears, I get migraines when the wind blows in. These things are so thick and warm that they don't let a drop of cold or wind through, even when the temperature is negative. Also, due to fibromyalgia, I am very sensitive to uncomfortable tissue. They are super cuddly and sooo soft on the skin. If you are sensitive to rough fabrics and cold, this is a lifesaver! However, be careful if you are a man with a rather large head. My significant other also tried it on and while it fit, it was quite comfortable.
