Good sun protection
I bought it for my husband. He is 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 156 pounds. Size 31. Pants fit him. He is a kitesurfer and wants to protect his legs from the sun in the sea. The trousers have a different material at the front of the knees. similar to a wetsuit material. They fit him well and dry quickly. So far he is happy that he no longer has to apply sun protection factor to his legs.
