Loudest BMX helmet
Very loud at any speed. Comfortable, light and well-fitting helmet. But the noise is unbearable. I ran tests with two other high end road helmets side by side and the Smith Trace was the loudest. Wind noise drowns out the sound of an approaching car. I think it's a great helmet for gravel or mountain biking. But not on the street.
