Very disappointed good for furniture

We recently had a baby and bought her this cradle. When we opened the box and began assembly in Step 2 of "Assemble the Mattress Pad,” the four holes in the mattress pad were not drilled correctly and did not line up with the plastic mattress pad mounting nuts. Holes about 1 inch. Now we don't have a bed for our newborn and we have to come up with a new solution. When we tried to contact Delta, the phone line asked for you to send an email. We did it and now we are waiting for the answer.
