Orico 3.5 case works fine

I prefer to buy hard drives without cases because I have a lot of blank drives, so I prefer to reuse them when I can. The only problem is that I don't pay attention to the type of drive I buy (ATA, SATA, SATA III, etc.) I may not have in an enclosure. This was done in this case even though the cases are reasonably priced so I can pick them up relatively cheaply (look for a fast USB bus, at least USB 3 - even if your computer doesn't support it as you can upgrade at some point in of the future and you need a housing that meets current standards). I chose an Orico 3.5 external hard drive enclosure. It arrived a day later (!) and I opened the box to find not only the drive but also a screwdriver (it was nice to assume the buyer might not have one. I found it but was grateful for it anyway) . the end of the disc - and here I made a relatively small mistake. I didn't notice how the end cap fitted into the case body when the drive was installed. It is inserted into the end cap, the housing is put on and fastened with two Phillips screws). The end cap seems to be able to support the weight of the hard drive (don't turn it upside down without placing it in the case because that's a really stupid thing to do). I had to rearrange it several times until it fit properly (if this happens, don't use force. If the pieces don't fit together, you'll feel a little resistance when you try to put them together. Instead, don't force it, just swap out and see if that works better.) Some markings to indicate which side - something like an "L" sticker on the case and another on the end cap would be helpful. What seems a bit quirky is that an indicator light illuminates the case, but it's on the back, which is odd. So much so that when I turned it on - I use it as a backup drive - I wasn't sure if it was working because it's relatively quiet (hooray!). I couldn't tell it was working until I noticed the light behind it was pulsing red and blue. It goes without saying that the indicator lights are usually located in front of the drive. It's a solid and inexpensive case that does its job perfectly.
