I recently installed a Rockler T-Bar on my workbench and intentionally aligned it to line up with the holes on my Porter Dovetail cable clamp matches. My goal was to use the rail to hold all sorts of things, but when using the dovetail I wanted to just pop it into the rail, tighten and get to work. Unfortunately all of the different handles are too wide as the device was intended to be placed on a base and then possibly clamped. That is, until I tried those cam clamps! Eccentric clamps are easy to adjust/tighten with minimal play. As you can see from the pictures, they hold the mount with sufficient strength and serve the intended purpose. I replaced the included T-bolts with shorter screws I had on hand. The rubber washer combined with the metal washer provides a firm grip without putting too much stress on the installed T-track. It should be noted that I have concluded that the components of the Powertec rail are identical to those of the Rockler rail (same manufacturer) but at a lower price!
