Works well for hand and power tools

Set up today. Works as it should. My only complaint is that the T-bolt doesn't fit my rail. That's why I gave 4 stars. Not so hot what's up. I have a lot of hex head screws so I used them. I use mine on a stop block for my cross cutting station. My slot on my T-rail is just under 1/2 inch. It's 0.475 inches

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Safety

Good product for holding clips

I gave it a 3 because 1/4-20 doesn't mean a t-bolt head will fit on a 1/4 mini t-track twenty . I ended up replacing the screws with 1/4-20 screws from another product sold by powertec. The product is good and the color of these clips are consistent with another famous blue company. Note: Not all Powertec products have the same blue color.

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • Good but not great

Bike stand repaired!

I managed to fix the bike stand! The original clip was a hard plastic that worked well for over 15 years but broke off, likely due to exposure to ozone or ultraviolet light. All I had to do was go to a hardware store and buy a 5/16-18 x 4 fully threaded screw and I was in! Not what it was intended for, but works great.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Expensive

Handy little clip, best for power tools and hand tools

Haven't used their full potential yet but did a quick test on a few pieces of wood. I had little doubt they would fit my T-Bar, but I put them in to be sure. They fit well. I tried different gauges of wood and they seemed to grip the trimmings I was trying to firmly. But based on these quick tests, I'm pretty sure they'll do the job if I actually get them to work.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Expensive

great quality best hand tool

Haven't used them in a jig yet but have fitted them to an existing jig just to see how they work. They worked great. The aluminum is smooth and the blue anodizing is strong and strong. All parts appear to be of good quality. They worked as I expected, very well. If your jig can handle indexing handles where they don't get in the way, this is a very good solution for quick cocking.

Pros
  • best in niche
Cons
  • slightly torn

Faster than knobs but may require adjustment

These were designed to replace knobs to hold things in place along a T-rail (corner rail in my case). Upward tension is created by leverage/cam action. I like her but I have a few complaints. First, I wish I had a 5/16 inch version. The metal/rubber washers don't provide a very stable surface for the lever. The narrow 1/4" screws allow for too much tilt and play. Second, the system is very sensitive between being too loose and too tight. Sometimes there's a lever in that sweet spot that's…

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

On paper they are great. However.

When I ordered them they arrived and the bolt thread looked damaged. When I looked more closely 30 times, I saw that it had been eaten away. So I decided to replace it. When the replacement order arrived, the replacement filaments were even worse than the previous ones. So I returned them for a refund. The cams looked great, oddly colored (like the anodizing was done too quickly and they're "seconds" as they call it), but if the bolt won't let the cam rotate, they're nothing more than slag. So…

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Great for attaching jigs

I recently installed a Rockler T-Bar on my workbench and intentionally aligned it to line up with the holes on my Porter Dovetail cable clamp matches. My goal was to use the rail to hold all sorts of things, but when using the dovetail I wanted to just pop it into the rail, tighten and get to work. Unfortunately all of the different handles are too wide as the device was intended to be placed on a base and then possibly clamped. That is, until I tried those cam clamps! Eccentric clamps are easy

Pros
  • Highly rated by testers for support and durability
Cons
  • Not as thick as others
