We have a regular Dyson V8 and a toddler who is happy to help. Unfortunately, the adult version is too heavy for a one-year-old child. So it's perfect. He can pick up some dust, but don't expect him to do anything. The baby can now suckle and "help" with us and even like to "clean up" itself. She will follow or continue while we suck. It's amazing and the colors are the same. The only negative is that I would like it to actually vacuum and have a wall hook or something so it can be stored like an adult version.
