Revainrating 4 out of 5

It's a good mop except that the battery dies after two months. Attention buyers --- UPDATE 10/2021

*** UPDATE 10/2021 *** I felt the need to update this review and change my rating from 1 star to 4 stars. After contacting the company and complaining about the dead battery, they responded quickly. After making sure the battery was in place, I was offered a free replacement. This is a very honest and fair approach and I appreciate your honesty. I'm not giving them the full 5 stars because I want to make sure this new battery will last, but if it does then it's a 5 star product in my books. . The original unedited review is below. *** ORIGINAL REVIEW BELOW *** I would like to leave a good review for this mop. The price is reasonable for an electric wiper, the battery is enough to completely clean a wooden house of 1800 square meters. Feet (at least when it's not broke), and the included pads do a great job picking up dirt. the vacuum may be absent. Then why a one star rating? Put simply, the most important part of an electric mop - the battery - died after just 2 months (!) of use. How convenient, right in front of the return window. I always dutifully charged the battery right after mopping so it would be ready to go next week. It was great for a month until I noticed the battery died halfway through the swipe, which had never happened before. Hmm, I think the battery doesn't last very long on a charge. Okay then I'll charge it up in the morning before wiping it. This worked for about two weeks. When I plugged it in this morning, I noticed something strange. The LED indicator, which normally turns red when charging or green when fully charged, is no longer lit (see picture). Tried several sockets - without success. I thought maybe the indicator just broke (after two months) so I charged it for a couple of hours and then started mopping the floor. He worked about half my normal job and died. I tried charging, the light still doesn't come on. Let it charge for a few hours and put it back on the mop. Nothing. The battery died after two months of use. Listen, this is outrageous. A dead battery means this $130 mop will actually run out of power in 2 months. I could get a spare battery for $35, but for what purpose? Will the next one last a few years as it's supposed to, or will it fail in a few months and I'll have to spend hundreds of dollars a year to replace the battery? No thank you. Next time I will choose Bissell, a brand I can really trust.
