I bought this crimping tool hoping it would work with the inexpensive PPC Belden EX6PLUS RG-6 Snap " & Seal Outdoor Compression Connector, Comcast, DTV & Dish Approved, Pack of 50 Connectors (ASIN B00B8CISSU - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00B8CISSU), however these connectors measure exactly 23.7 mm (0.933 in ) when fully crimped. . This crimping tool is capable of crimping at least 1.051" (26.7 mm) connectors when the handle is fully compressed, so Belden connectors cannot be fully crimped. In addition, the crimper is not adjustable as lots of other crimpers that you can use to unscrew the "socket" that the plug fits in. Thanks to a feat of modern engineering, I was able to get my hands on some "gaskets" to make sure Lean that the connector is fully crimped, but that's not what you need to do. It would be nice if a female to female adapter was included for a red cap test socket but they are cheap and plentiful and for the most part I assume the most common use case would be to make wall plate connectors, so it doesn't matter as the wall panels have a built in clamp. Work with wall plates or something else that has jack-to-jack connectors for the tester.
