Review on ๐Ÿ“ฑ XOSS G GPS Bike Computer: Wireless Bluetooth Speedometer and Odometer by John Brazington

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Decent hardware for the money

Good calculator for the money. It's very basic compared to other GPS computers, but it's also the cheapest. It has trouble finding satellites at times, but I've found turning it off and on fixes the issue for me. Installation is easiest if all you have to do is attach it to your handlebars. I haven't tried driving it at night, but the screen is very readable during the day. It has enough information and it's easy to switch between different displays. There's a slight lag in the speed and incline values, but that's enough. The application is very simple. It is not possible to switch the application to show information in imperial units (mi/mph), which is strange as the computer itself can be configured (via the application) to use them. It only connects to a few services. If you're using Ride with GPS, you'll need to manually find the "fit" file on your phone and download it yourself. All in all, if you just want an easy to use speedometer on your bike, this is great. However, don't expect much from the app.
