I don't actually use them for shoes. It was hard to find a genuine shrink wrap that shipped quickly (I'm a little impatient). I found out that a glue gun is actually used for sealing before use. Simply put on the metal tip and slide to effectively seal without melting through. Really don't pull the trigger, I'm not sure how that would be lol
