At the time of ordering and writing this review, the description of this listing reads: Airbee Heavy Duty Spray Bottles are made of durable HDPE plastic, Recycled Code #2, which is chemical resistant, safe for chemical solutions like bleach, vinegar, rubbing alcohol, etc. When I checked upon receipt, the seal on the bottle reads "Some chemicals, like bleach, may permanently damage the atomizer". Technically yes, HDPE 2 is chemical resistant and the same plastic used for bottles that bleach is sold in (other types of plastic degrade on contact with bleach). However, the problem is always related to the spray mechanism. I always have problems with sprayers after a few uses of bleach, even if I empty, rinse and spray with clean water after each use. I bought these specifically for use with bleach but upon arrival found the claim was false. . If the chemical resistance claim only applies to the plastic and not to the spray mechanism, then the description of the intended use of this sprayer is misleading. At least I now have a few bottles to burn through quickly while I keep searching for a bottle that suits my needs.
