I use it in my garage to hold brooms, rakes, dustpans etc and it seems to work very well. It grips the handle of a broom or rake well and holds them in place without slipping off and works well with thinner or thicker tool bars within the specified range and even heavier things like rakes. thicker handles on things like shovels, but that weight could well knock it off the wall, so it's useless; Stronger tool holders are available for them. The front hooks are also handy as you can see in the picture for a broom, dust pan or things like a car wash or wheel brushes or even hanging suede to dry. My only concern is the strength of the screw holes used for attachment. 2 on each end, one on top of each other and 2 in the middle, 6 mounting screws in total, but the screws just go through the plastic backing of the unit, there is no metal bracket or anything to reinforce the hole and they seem like they can over time break if used rough or too heavy. Cavity wall screws and dowels were included but could be a bit bigger and stronger. I managed (luckily) to hammer in a stud at each end, so I only needed hollow wall dowels for the two middle holes. Accordingly, if it falls on me, it's because the plastic of the block failed, not the screws or dowels. When that happens (no hint yet, but it wasn't that long ago) I'll come back and report back. Although I like it so far.
