Review on Christmas Birthday Digital Portable Children: The Ultimate Gift for Tech-Savvy Kids! by Nathan Skipper

Great camera for beginners!

Let me introduce the box first. This camera was packaged like an expensive phone which I love because if it was a gift it looks like I spent a decent amount of money on it. Upon opening, the box contained a nicely packaged camera along with a lanyard and charging cable. The body of this thing is made entirely of plastic, which is perfect for a small person because it appears indestructible. My little one tested it by rocking it, pulling it, and banging it on the floor. Apart from minor scratches on the display, it hasn't suffered at all. When it arrived it was very low on battery, enough to turn it on and see some of the options on the display. So I found a standard USB charger and plugged it in for about a couple of hours. The cargo bay is covered with a rubber plug which is quite difficult to open which I think is good for a small person to avoid exposing the area to elements like water. The overall design really tried to think about how kids interact with things. When turned on, the camera can capture photos, videos, games, and audio. The only downside is that navigating the menus using the buttons takes a bit of getting used to as most things are touch sensitive now, but enough trial and error, my 3 year old found his way around without too much frustration. Photos have small frame options and filters, and in the settings you can change the resolution to determine the quality. It has an external SD card which I like a lot because I can take it out and move photos or videos to my computer and keep my childhood memories. This is a great little camera for my kids to capture life from their point of view. A full charge lasted a couple of hours of uninterrupted gaming, and maybe longer if just on standby. Definitely recommend getting one.
