These brushes clean dishes better than our old sponges and washcloths, and we've also found that we use significantly less dish soap. I love wood, it looks nice, feels good and when they reach the end of their life I can toss them in my compost and feel happy knowing my ugly old cleaning tools aren't hanging around polluting the environment next million years or so! The wooden parts of the scrubbers don't appear to have been treated with anything, but I thought of rubbing them with some beeswax so they last a little longer and are still compost-safe at the end of their life. I loved the packaging - all cardboard and paper! Thank you for not wrapping these products in plastic! Five stars!
