Full disclaimer: My hair is greasy. About 14 hours after a typical drugstore/salon shampoo, I usually look like I haven't washed my hair in days. At least an inch from the roots of my hair, my hair is knotted and just an oily mess. If I try to delay rinsing for three days after washing my hair, the oil actually runs onto my shoulders and my scalp starts to itch. At this point, it looks like all I have to do is soak my hair with coconut and/or olive oil and let it dry. I washed my hair with this product 3 times and noticed an immediate change. On the first day I noticed that my hair still looks pretty good 24 hours after washing, dry shampoo I think (although I could never use dry shampoo because it still leaves my hair flat on the head and then it becomes stringy and immobile will). bold) appearance. My fine greasy hair actually had volume *AIR!* The second day I washed my hair and after 10 hours it looked exactly the same as it did early in the morning. The third time I washed my hair because I had an odor in my hair (I'm allergic to fragrances and there were LOTS of fragrances absolutely everywhere in friends' houses that I went to. I came home, took off my clothes which I had been wearing to wash it immediately then I noticed the smell was in my hair too.I washed my hair for the second time today - third wash overall - and the bad smells went out of my hair without that a double wash was required.) This shampoo is a bit odd compared to a normal product, the shampoo does not lather as you would expect from a pharmacy. and/or salon product. I take a full dose of shampoo down the middle of my back for my hair. I rub it gently between my palms and apply directly to my head. I don't recommend trying to lather it up in your hands, it won't work. If you've ever touched aloe vera, that semi-thick gel you buy in a bottle at the drugstore, you know what I mean. This isn't the thick product you might be used to. It's more slippery than you think and as a result you might lose my product instead of keeping it in your hands. Overall: I recommend this product - ABSOLUTELY! I think this will be my new Holy Grail Shampoo. Note: My husband tried it and didn't like it. He prefers shampoos that lather in your palms rather than one that you apply directly to your scalp/crown and then rub into your hair.
