Looks great. The wiring connecting the LEDs has a clear plastic cover covering the thin, bare wire. The LED is surrounded by a solid white base that looks durable. Not sure if LEDs are interchangeable, but LEDs last a long time. It seems sheltered from the rain, but it rarely rains in Phoenix. The AC adapter is plugged into the middle of the light rod. There are different lighting modes. Depending on my mood, I change the pattern at the push of a button. It also has an automatic timer mode that turns on at 6am and turns off at 6pm.
