I found the original power steering pulley on my 2008 E88 135i which was broken. For peace of mind I decided to change it along with the belt and tensioner. This product is definitely solid. It's better to be reassured in a situation like this than to apologize. Once there, just upgrade the thermostat to block the hose fitting to recycled aluminum because mine was like cookie sprinkles. The worst part of the job is removing the radiator fan without breaking too many things. Be extremely careful with the coolant tank's thin overflow pipe and the hose to which it connects with a frangible plastic nipple.
