Installation: 2021 Model Y This is a great filter. It comes with all the necessary tools (thanks) and the installation wasn't bad at all. Watching videos online is a lot to find. My biggest problem was the speaker wire didn't come loose, I used a needle tip to pull it out, it looks like a safety clip is needed as the speaker is a warning speaker (backup sound, beep for proximity sensors). If you are going to remove the rug from the side in any case, just remove it. Don't be afraid to use force! I broke a clip (don't worry, there are 20 clips...breaking one or two is no problem). Note, if this is your first time doing car repairs, you will find that your entire interior is held together with plastic clips. The secret of the automotive industry. :) When everything is out it's not that hard to get to the screw to remove the cover and pull out the old filters. The new filters fit perfectly. A bit tight but they added foam to seal the edges that shrinks over time. I would say that I may have lost a "notch" in airspeed, meaning I have to go up a notch for the same airflow. never mind Hepa + real carbon is worth it. I live in Wildfire Country and my default filters were all black. Now I change the filters once a year. Thanks for a good product!
