The rubber strap is more comfortable than the original plastic strap but I found it to be a bit loose. It has a loop that you can use to tighten it, but it's slow to loosen, so you usually have to adjust the length of the strap. Also, the place where the band connects to the Fitbit also seems a bit loose, it clicks slightly. I'm guessing it's just a slight manufacturing tolerance, it hasn't opened up yet and I've been wearing it straight into intense cardio for a month. Overall this is a good product and I would recommend it but I don't expect it to last very long. Luckily there are 3 of these, so I have two spares when the elastic inevitably loses elasticity or wears out.
