Fits better than I expected!
I installed these on my 2001 Camaro SS and the design and fit are absolutely perfect! I would go with the 1 7/8" knowing how well made they are. Lots of room around. The only problem with the kit is that they don't provide a 3" Y-tube clamp for the adapter instead of it were two 2 1/2" clamps. I ended up ordering a 3" coupler from Hooker, 41173HKR to finish the job.
