I recently converted my desk to a height adjustable desk so I can stand up. One thing you'll quickly discover when you switch to a height-adjustable desk is that all the rules of acceptable wiring are changing. It is not possible to have the computer on the floor and switch all monitors/keyboard/mouse remotely. from your computer without the hassle of cables or the risk of damaging computer components. I bought it and was able to attach it to the underside of my desk without much fuss. It's great that it rotates and slides for easy access. I find the main mount a little flimsy, although I'm not sure how much my turret weighs. This is the standard "quiet" Corsair case sold everywhere and has standard high-end components, but it doesn't have 8 hard drives or anything too "heavy". I would be very concerned about using this mount if you don't have supported cables coming out of your tower (e.g. video cables can be heavy enough to be a big problem). This is fine in my case as all the cables and wires had to be tied to the table to move with the table raised/lowered. It would be nice if it had rubber pads to isolate metal to metal contact to reduce noise. The plastic mount that "jams" could have been better too, perhaps with longer, softer rubber tabs it would help hold the system more securely and further isolate the transmission of noise from vibration. I will add some Sorbotane pads to reduce noise.
