I bought this CPU holder thinking it would work great. However

Based on the reviews I bought this CPU holder thinking it would work great. However, it turned out to be very flimsy, and when I rotated it about 20 degrees to attach the cable to the back of my processor, the processor bracket fell out of the guides and my processor and bracket fell to the floor. I'll admit that I have a large and somewhat heavy CPU case - it's an old Antec design for 'quiet' computers (ie it's double-walled to keep noise out), but questions and comments have shown that these…

Pretty good product but arrived with wrong screws

Pretty good product, very durable. I confess I was a little apprehensive about drilling from the bottom up on my desk, but I didn't even get close to penetrating from the top. In general, the installation went very quickly. They sent the correct screws to mount the frame, but they sent 2 long screws instead of 2 short screws to mount the front (to prevent the system from slipping out of the frame), so for now I'm just trying to be careful don't bump into anything as long as I can secure it…

I had to fabricate some metal parts for this 3M CPU holder

11 inch wide case to fit and not damage the bottom of the mesh case. The metal lever and slide cost me 2 bills. It's worth knowing that my case is going nowhere. This is how this CPU holder should have been made! I will update the photos soon. Update: Well worth the extra money I spent on the metal arm and bottom bracket. The metal lever instead of the plastic lever fits snugly in my case. The bottom adjustable bracket allows my suitcase to sit on the suitcase rails, allowing my suitcase's mesh

Good hanging stand Best monitor accessory

Not bad for the price. My computer is a bit wide and it seemed to lean a bit. Then I realized that the stand has 4 screws to detach it from the rotating top so it can be moved left or right depending on the width of your computer. I moved mine one set of holes to the right and now they sit more evenly. Still not perfectly centered, but definitely more stable. I wish the retaining lever on the left was metal instead of plastic. The top of the lever is the only part that makes contact with the…

Works but a bit flimsy

I recently converted my desk to a height adjustable desk so I can stand up. One thing you'll quickly discover when you switch to a height-adjustable desk is that all the rules of acceptable wiring are changing. It is not possible to have the computer on the floor and switch all monitors/keyboard/mouse remotely. from your computer without the hassle of cables or the risk of damaging computer components. I bought it and was able to attach it to the underside of my desk without much fuss. It's…

So close to a great product

I really wanted a five star product. But here's the problem. My desktop computer is 9 inches wide and 19 inches high. The flange that goes under the computer only extends 5 1/2 inches. This means the dust filter and metal grille on the underside of my PC are under tremendous pressure, while I would have preferred this flange extended a full 9 inches. Second, in order to fit the PC into the unit, I had to either remove its back leg or give the entire PC an extra inch of room to hang down. At a…
