Great impact drill and impact wrench set for professionals and DIY enthusiasts, strong and light

Love this Makita combo set. It comes with a brushless impact drill, a brushless impact wrench, two 2Ah batteries, a charger and a canvas bag with enough space for everything and more. I only got it recently, but both the puncher and the percussion instrument exceeded all my expectations. I bought these to replace my 10 year old Dewalt rotary hammer and impact wrench and these Makits are obviously knocking them out of the water. They are compact, powerful and very light, which is a big plus for me. I'm an electrician and I use both tools on a daily basis, with the percussion tool being the more common of the two. The impact tool is compact, lightweight, has large torque and is very powerful. I use an impact wrench constantly, all day every day, it has loads of power, the brushless motors are great, stronger and quieter than brushed motors and the battery life is really impressive, even with the smaller 2Ah batteries. the kit is included. And the hammer drill, what can I say, is simply great as an impact wrench. Like the Kick, it's very compact and light, but packs a lot of power. I needed a hammer drill because as an electrician I usually have to drill through concrete or brick to run pipes or insert anchors to fasten boxes etc. and this hammer drill will do the job. I also have to constantly drill holes in metal electrical panels, and this drill bit cuts through steel plates like butter. The chuck on this drill is decent, it has a locking plastic chuck that holds the bits great, I haven't had any slipping or loosening of the bits while drilling, it snaps in place and holds the bits in place. Didn't notice a chuck or anything mentioned in some of the other reviews but also remember I'm an electrician so I don't have to worry about drilling clean, perfectly accurate holes. The chuck on this drill is by no means a higher quality chuck and I'll concede that a better quality metal chuck would be far better, but you get what you pay for so this kit doesn't cost that much. Miscellaneous. I would NOT recommend this kit if you are a carpenter or someone whose job requires drilling very precise holes. The 2Ah batteries that come with this kit are not that big but they last a long time (I can't tell you the exact battery life) but I think they last a long time and charge very quickly. , about 15-20 minutes for a full charge, I never get stuck while waiting for the battery to charge, and the charger is a bit bigger, but very good, the charger and the built-in batteries fail. Safes to prevent batteries from being overcharged or discharged, and allow the battery to cool before charging if it overheats. The charger will beep when you charge the battery and beep when the battery is fully charged. The included canvas bag offers enough space for the drill, impact wrench, batteries and charger and has compartments for bits or other things that you can store in them. Some people prefer hard plastic cases and a hard case offers more protection, but in my experience hard cases don't have the space to pack extra stuff like soft canvas cases do, so I'm pretty happy with a soft case. The only downside to this kit, and a very small downside, is the battery life with 2Ah batteries. 3Ah batteries would be ideal and obviously 4Ah or 5Ah batteries would be much better and give you a lot longer battery life but it really doesn't matter as you can use larger batteries and any Makita battery with one Star on it or a yellow clip is compatible with the two tools. I myself plan to get bigger batteries at some point, but for now these 2Ah batteries are enough. All in all a great set, more than enough if you are looking for something for the home and if you are a professional in the trade and need something for the construction site like I do, it is great, they easily withstand all the stresses of construction site use. Makita makes great tools and this set reflects that. I plan to upgrade all my other tools to the Makitas cordless system, they have everything you could need and they all run on a single battery. All I can say is "Great job Makita" this kit easily deserves 5 stars. If I have any problems with this kit in the future I will update this review but for now I have no complaints.
