After having our Panasonic 50" Plasma on our bedroom dresser for 2 years we decided to wall mount it to save space, Furniture easier to clean etc We only did this once a few years ago and carefully measured/planned etc but it only took about 50 minutes including finding and collecting the drill/drill/level etc The quality of this item is very good and the design is simple. There aren't a million parts there (in fact they offer different sizes of screws (e.g. M6/M8) to fit different TVs that the customer might have. We have the largest - M8s - and the smaller size of screws/washers/spacers [for curved back TVs] easily fit into our garage box). The bracket only spans two studs 16 inches apart, but that's more than enough for this TV - in fact, I'll bet the TV's worth that the bracket goes nowhere. A few notes: A 2 inch spirit level is included, but I would recommend using a "real" standalone spirit level. Hex head screws are used to attach the back panel to the wall/stands, but no tool is included to screw them in (I have my own). Verdict: You don't need to spend more than $40-$60 for something of this quality. I would buy this again.
