This was a big hit with toddlers and preschoolers who love to pick up real remote controls. which they both began to do almost instinctively (laughs) from a very early age (if that was ever within reach). Instead, I prefer to leave this (clean, drool-friendly) remote on the bed or sleeping pad when the baby wakes up because it gives them something to do while they wait for me to pick them up and they don't cry because they do me because he's too busy having fun. and i can hear the sound of the remote control so i know the baby is awake. It helps my preschooler to reinforce his colors and counting which is also a bonus!
