I bought a Premier Blades water cutter. This cutter simply feels good in the hand. For me, the best thing about a rotary cutter is the safety aspect. The blade only comes out of the slot when the handle is squeezed and automatically (YES!) retracts when the handle is released. No more unexpected scrapes and cuts from a forgotten open blade, and fewer trips to the first aid kit for band-aids! It also has a button to lock the blade in the closed position to ensure the safety of small curious children. I especially recommend this for the forgetful beginner, quilter or wreath maker, anyone who needs to safely (and beautifully) carve their next creation.
